“하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 말씀하여 이르시되 2 나는 너를 애굽 땅, 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 네 하나님 여호와니라” (출 20:1-2)

서론

제가 칼럼을 하나 읽었다. 어느 날 한 남자가 아내가 집에 돌아올 시간이 다 되었는데 오지 않아 버스 정류장으로 가서 기다렸다고 한다. 그런데 막차가 지나갔는데도 오지를 않는 것이다. 어쩔 수 없이 집에 다시 돌아가서 기다렸다. 기다려도 오지 않아서 일단 자야겠다 싶어서 잠을 청하는데 잠이 오지 않고 마음속에 기도해야겠다는 생각이 들었다고 한다. 그 마음이 드는 순간 하나님의 음성이 다가왔다고 한다. “네가 지금 아내를 기다리고 있느냐” 라는 음성이 들려 “네 아내를 기다리고 있습니다” 대답하고 “졸리냐” 묻는 음성에 “아니요, 제가 어떻게 잠에 들수 있겠습니까?” 라고 대답했다고 한다. 이에 하나님의 음성이 “그런데 너는 왜 나를 기다릴 때는 잘만 잠을 자느냐?” 하셨다고 한다. 그 순간에 귀한 영적인 사실을 깨달았다고 한다. 내가 주님을 사모하지 않았구나, 비로소 깨달은 것이다. 우리가 말씀을 들을 때 하나님의 마음을 보는 것이 아주 중요하다. 

오늘 하나님께서 우리에게 주시는 말씀을 받을 때 그냥 듣지 마시고 하나님의 마음을 헤아려 보시기 바란다.  

1. 언약의 하나님 The God of the Covenant

(1) 계명을 주시는 하나님 The God Who Gives the Commandments

출 Exodus 20:1

오늘 말씀은 십계명의 서론에 해당되는 말씀이다. 우리가 출애굽기 20장 십계명을 읽을 때, 우리가 읽은 이 부분 1-2절 말씀을 무시하는 경우가 많다. 그렇게 되어 버리면 십계명에 대한 가장 중요한 핵심을 놓치게 된다. 십계명에 담긴 중요한 하나님의 복음과 마음을 놓치면서 십계명을 보게 되는 것이다. 다시 말하면 1-2절을 그냥 지나치고 십계명만 보면 십계명 자체를 율법으로만 볼 수밖에 없게 된다. 그러나 이 말씀을 잡으면 아, 십계명은 복음의 말씀이구나 하고 깨닫게 된다. 출애굽기20:1절부터 말씀 보겠다, “하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 말씀하여 이르시되”. 여기서 하나님이라는 말씀이 나타난다. 여기 “하나님” 의 원어를 보면, “엘로힘” 이라는 단어를 사용했다. 이는 창조주 하나님, 전지전능한 하나님, 생명의 하나님을 의미하는 단어이다. 이 말씀은 무엇을 의미하는가? 지금 주시는 말씀이 단지 이스라엘 백성만을 위한 하나님의 말씀이 아니었다는 것을 의미한다. 그 말인즉, 전 인류가 이 말씀을 받는 대상이 된다는 말이다. “이 모든 말씀으로 말씀하여 이르시되” 여기서 “모든 말씀” 은 선포되는 열 가지 언약을 말한다. 이 언약은 바로 엘로힘, 창조주 하나님이 주시는 열 가지 계명임을 설명하는 것이다. 이 계명은 이스라엘 백성들만을 위해 주신 것이 아니라 모든 민족, 과거, 현재, 미래, 모든 세대의 백성들에게 주시는 축복의 말씀임을 알아야 하는것이다. 모든 인류를 향하신 하나님의 축복의 복음의 말씀인 것을 우리가 알아야 하는 것이다. 그러니까 오늘 우리가 이 말씀을 받으면서, 우리에게 주시는 말씀이구나 하고 붙잡아야 한다. 고로, 우리가 이 말씀을 받을 때 앞으로 나의 모든 생각과 마음과 삶의 기준이 바로 이 계명 속에서 이루어져야겠구나 하는 마음을 가져야겠다. 오늘 말씀 받을 때 앞으로 나의 삶은 이 말씀에 기준을 두고 살아야겠다, 여기에 모든 축복이 다 들어 있구나 붙잡고 시작하시기를 바란다. 

(2) 너의 하나님 Your God

출 Exodus 20:2

2절 말씀을 보면, “나는 너를 애굽 땅 종이 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 네 하나님 여호와니라” 라고 나온다. 여기서 가장 중요한 것이 “나는 너를” 하는 대목이다. 시작할 때 “나” 라는 1인칭을 사용하고 “너” 라는 2인칭 단수를 사용했다. 이는 이스라엘 단체를 놓고 하는 메시지가 아니라 너 개인에게 주는 말씀이라는 것을 의미한다. 지구상에 수십억 인구가 살고 있다. 수십억 되는 인구에게 주신 계명은 그가 누구든 각자 개인적으로 붙잡아야 할 메시지 인것이다. 또 중요하게 “네 하나님” 이라고 하셨다. 이 계명을 받을 대상에 대하여 이야기하시는 것이다. 다시 말해 이 십계명은 아무나 받는 것이 아니라는 의미이다. 지금 이스라엘 백성들에게 말씀을 주시고 계신다. 다시 말해, 하나님께서 부르신 백성들을 의미한다. 언약을 붙잡고 있는 백성을 의미한다. 그 언약의 백성 중에서도 지금 이 말씀을 받는 “너” 에게 주시는 말씀이다라는 것이다. 그러니까, 이 계명은 하나님의 특별한 은혜를 받은 사람들에게 주시는 특별한 축복의 말씀인 것이다. 왜 그러한가? 이 말씀을 받는 자에게 놀라운 축복이 있기 때문이다. 주님께서 말씀 하시기를, 이 말씀을 지키게 되면 너는 하나님의 소유가 되고 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 될 것이다 하는 것이다. 이 모든 것의 열쇠가 바로 이 계명이라고 하시는 말씀이다. 이 말씀에 붙잡는 순간에 그동안 노예 신분으로 살았던 이스라엘 백성들이 바뀌어 하나님의 백성이 되는 신분의 변화가 일어나는 것이다. 하나님의 나라의 백성이 된다는 것은 영적인 변화가 있었다는 것이다. 이렇게 이스라엘 백성들에게 참된 복음의 말씀을 전하시는 것을 볼 수 있다. 여기서 우리가 붙잡을 것은 “나는 너를 애굽 땅 종이 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 너의 하나님 여호와로라” 이다. 이 말씀 가운데 하나님이 어떤 분이신가 하는 것을 붙잡아야겠다. 여기서도 “엘로힘” 하나님이 언급된다. 창조주 하나님, 심판주 하나님을 의미한다. 그리고 지난주 말씀에 나왔듯이, 백성들이 경계선을 넘어 가까이 가면 죽음을 당할 수밖에 없게 되는 두려움의 대상이시기도 하다. 그런데 오늘 말씀에 보면, 나는 그런 하나님이 아니라고 말씀하고 계신다. “종이 되었던 집에서 너희를 인도해 낸 인도자, 보호자 하나님 되심을 말씀하신다. 지금까지 이스라엘 백성들의 여정을 보면, 하나님은 이스라엘 백성들을 구원하시기 위해 애굽에서부터 열 가지 재앙을 통해 어마어마한 창조의 역사를 이루셨다. 홍해를 가르면서 놀라운 능력을 보이시기도 했다. 또 이스라엘 백성들이 더울까 혹은 추울까 싶어 구름기둥, 불기둥으로 보호하고 인도하시기도 했다. 먹을 것이 없을 때는 친히 만나를 내려 창조의 역사를 보이셨다. 마실물이 없을 때는 모세에게 바위를 내리쳐라 하셔서 그 틈에서 샘물이 솟아나게 하셨다. 이렇듯 우리 하나님은 당신의 백성을 인도하고, 보호하고, 공급하시는 하나님이 되신다. 하나님은 당신이 부르신 백성들에게 지금도 동일하게 역사하고 계신다는 사실을 붙잡아야겠다. 3,500년 전에 출애굽을 인도하신 하나님과 나와 무슨 상관이냐고 생각하면 안 된다. 지금도 여러분을 보호하시고 불꽃 같은 눈동자로 지키시고 인도하시는 여호와 하나님 되심을 알아야겠다. 

2. 구원의 하나님 The God of Salvation

(1) 인도하시는 하나님 The God Who Guides

창 Genesis 3:15, 15:13-14, 요 John 1:12

엘로힘에 이어 우리가 “여호와 하나님” 을 붙잡아야겠다. 여호와는 언약을 맺으시고 성취하시는 하나님이다. 하나님은 한 번 말씀하신 약속을 이루시기 위해 놀라운 기적을 일으키신다. 무에서 유를 창조하시고 시공간을 초월하는 역사까지 일으키시며 시공간을 초월하시면서까지 언약을 성취하신다. 노예된 이스라엘 백성들을 건지시기 위해 이러한 역사들을 일으키셨다. 새로운 하나님의 백성으로 만드시기 위해 이러한 놀라운 역사들을 이루어 나가셨다. 우리가 항상 붙잡을 하나님의 언약의 말씀은 창세기 3:15 “여자의 후손” 이다. 타락으로 인해 멸망과 저주를 받을 수밖에 없는 인간을 바로 이 여자의 후손을 보내어 구원하시겠다는 언약이다. 이 언약을 성취하시기 위해 시공간을 초월하는 놀라운 역사를 일으키신다. 아브라함과 맺으신 창 15:13-14의 횃불 언약도 이와 마찬가지이다. 애굽에서 네 자손들이 객이 되어 400년 동안 노예생활을 하게 될 것인데, 400년이 지나고 다시 약속의 땅으로 돌아오게 할 것이라고 아브라함과 약속하셨다. 얼핏 보면 하나님께 아브라함과 간단하게 맺은 언약 같은데 그 언약 이루시기 위해 열가지 재앙을 일으키시고, 홍해를 가르시고, 만나와 메추라기, 구름기둥 불기둥 같은 놀라운 역사를 일으키신것이다. 우리가 꼭 잡아야 하는 것이 바로 이 부분이다. 하나님은 당신이 한 번 주신 약속은 반드시 이루시는데 그것을 이루기 위해 놀라운 시공간 초월과 창조의 역사를 일으키신다. 우리에게 주신 가장 축복된 언약이 무엇인가? 요 1:12, “영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니”. 이것을 이루시기 위해 하나님께서 놀라운 시공간 초월의 역사를 이루신 것이다. 구원받은 자를 통해 행하실 계획이 있으시다는 말이다. “땅끝까지 증인이 되리라” 말씀하셨다. 그렇게 우리로 증인으로 사용하시기 위해 놀라운 전무후무의 역사를 일으키신다. 이 하나님이 바로 여호와 하나님이 되신다. 그 하나님이 말씀하신다, “네 하나님 여호와라”. “네 하나님 여호와” 라는 말씀은 내가 너의 구원자, 보호자, 인도자라는 의미이다. 왜 그러한가? 우리는 하나님의 소유가 되었기 때문이다. 영접하는 자는 하나님의 자녀가 되며 그의 소유가 된다 했다. 하나님의 소유가 된 이상, 모든 것을 주님께 맡기는 것이다. 하나님께서 약속하신 모든 언약을 나를 통해 완벽하게 성취해 나가시는 것이다. 두려움이나 걱정거리가 있으신가? 하나님께서 여러분을 완벽하게 보호하고 인도 해주실줄 믿는다. 여러분을 통한 하나님의 계획은 완벽히 이루어질 것이다.

(2) 구속하시는 하나님 The God Who Redeems

출 Exodus 13:15, 12:39,  요 John 5:39

여기서 우리가 다시 한 번 꼭 붙잡을 것은 “구속하시는 하나님” 이다. 이스라엘 백성들을 애굽에서부터 시내산까지 인도하셨다. 이스라엘 백성은 아무것도 한 것 없이 많은 선물을 받았다. 그 중 가장 최고의 선물이 무엇 이었겠는가? 그것이 바로 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 것이다. 우리가 받은 은혜 가운데 가장 큰 것이 바로 멸망받을 수밖에 없던, 지옥에 갈 수밖에 없던 우리가 구원을 받아서 하나님의 자녀가 된 사실이다. 바로 그 말씀이 종 되었던 집에서 인도해낸 하나님이 하시는 말씀이다. 여기서 “집” 에 히브리어 단어로 “베트” 가 사용되었다. 여기에는 건물이라는 의미도 있지만 감옥이라는 뜻도 있다. 감옥 중에서도 특별히 지하에 있는 감옥을 나타낸다. 성경에 이를 기록하신 것은 너희들이 노예 생활하던 것이 마치 지하감옥에서 있던 것과 같은데 그런 너희를 건져낸 하나님이라는 것을 말씀하시는 것이다. 이것은 그냥 하신 말씀이 아니라 영적 의미를 두고 하신 말씀이다. 이스라엘 백성만을 위해 하신 말씀이 아니라 지금도 창세기 3장과 사단에 붙잡혀 종노릇하며 살고 있는 모든 인간들을 위해 하신 말씀이다. 하나님이 어떤 하나님이시냐, 저주와 재앙 가운데 종노릇하던 지옥 배경에서 건져내신 왕 되신 분이다 가르쳐주시는 것이다. 왜 하나님께서 이 단어를 쓰셨는가? 앞으로 이루실 그리스도의 왕적 사명을 설명하시기 위해 사용하신 것이다. 출애굽 사건을 통해 그리스도의 삼중직이 기록된 것을 찾아볼 수가 있다. 출애굽기 13:15, “그 때에 바로가 완악하여 우리를 보내지 아니하매 여호와께서 애굽 나라 가운데 처음 난 모든 것은 사람의 장자로부터 가축의 처음 난 것까지 다 죽이셨으므로 태에서 처음 난 모든 수컷들은 내가 여호와께 제사를 드려서 내 아들 중에 모든 처음 난 자를 다 대속하리니”. 이스라엘 백성이 구원받은 것은 피로 인함이었다는 말이다. 앞으로 오실 그리스도의 십자가 보혈을 나타내는 것이다. 참, 제사장이 나타나게 될 것이라는 말이다. 출 12:39 “그들이 애굽으로부터 가지고 나온 발교되지 못한 반죽으로 무교병을 구웠으니 이는 그들이 애굽에서 쫓겨나므로 지체할 수 없었음이며 아무 양식도 준비하지 못하였음이었더라”. 애굽에서 해방되어서 가나안으로 가게 되는 것이다. 예수님이 태어날 땅으로 가게 되는 것이다. 앞으로 천국에 가게 될 것을 나타내는 것이다. 천국 가는 길이 바로 애굽에서 쫓겨남을 인하여 된 것을 말한다. 예수 그리스도의 피를 바른 자에게는 그 피의 능력이 나타나 사단이 쫓겨나게 될 것을 말한다. 문제 있을 때 예수 그리스도 이름으로 기도하시기를 바란다. 예수 그리스도 이름으로 기도할 때 사단은 쫓겨나게 된다. 흑암은 무너지게 된다. 가장 중요한 말씀 잡아야겠다. 이 모든 사건을 보며 예수님께서 요한복음 5:39에 말씀하신다, “너희가 성경에서 영생을 얻는 줄 생각하고 성경을 연구하거니와 이 성경이 곧 내게 대하여 증언하는 것이니라”. 다시 말해 하나님께서 친히 주신 십계명 자체도 바로 그리스도를 설명하는 말씀이라는 사실이다. 그래서 우리가 십계명을 받을 때도 그리스도 향한 시각으로 붙잡아야 한다. 흑암이 무너지고, 우리 죄문제가 해결되고, 하나님을 만나는 길을 기록한 것이 바로 십계명이다. 

3. 하나님이 원하시는 것을 아는 자 One Who Knows What God Desires

(1) 내 안에 보좌의 망대를 세우라 Establish the bartizan of the throne within me

출 Exodus 20:1

그렇다면 하나님께서 원하시는 것을 아는 자가 어떤 자인지 보겠다. 내 안에 보좌의 망대를 세우는 자가 바로 하나님께서 원하시는 것을 아는 자이다. 출 20:1, “하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 말씀하여 이르시되” 이 모든 말씀, 복음의 말씀을 누리시기를 바란다. 그렇게 될 때 하나님이 우리에게 근원적인 힘을 허락해 주실 것이다. 

(2) 내가 가는 길에 보좌의 여정이 보인다 You will see the journey of the throne on your own path

출 Exodus 20:2

그렇게 되면 하나님께서 내가 가는 길에 보좌의 여정이 보이게 하실 것이다. 출 20:2, “나는 너를 애굽 땅, 종이 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 네 하나님 여호와니라.” 내게 임한 하나님 나라를 누리시기를 바란다. 그렇게 되면 우리의 근원적인 것들이 치유되고 하나님이 예비하신 여정이 보인다. 

(3) 내 미래 속에 보좌의 이정표가 생긴다 The guidepost of the throne will emerge in my future

행 Acts 19:21

세 번째, 내 미래 속에 보좌의 이정표가 생긴다. 행 19:21, “이 일이 있은 후에 바울이 마게도냐와 아가야를 거쳐 예루살렘에 가기로 작정하여 이르되 내가 거기 갔다가 후에 로마도 보아야 하리라 하고” 가는 곳마다 하나님 나라의 일이 일어날 것이다. 근원적인 응답의 역사가 나타나게 될 줄을 믿는다. 정말 이 축복을 받는 여러분이 되시기를 바란다. 

결론 Conclusion

사 Isaiah 43:1

말씀 맺겠다. 사 43:1, “야곱아 너를 창조하신 여호와께서 지금 말씀하시느니라 이스라엘아 너를 지으신 이가 말씀하시느니라 너는 두려워하지 말라 내가 너를 구속하였고 내가 너를 지명하여 불렀나니 너는 내 것이라”. 하나님께서 여러분을 향해 “너는 내 것이라” 말씀하신다. 내 것이 되면 끝이다. 어떻게 우리가 그의 것이 되었는가? 하나님께서 여러분을 당신의 것으로 삼으시기 위해 그리스도의 피의 대가를 지불하셨다. 더 중요한 것은 “내가 너를 지명하여 불렀나니” 지금 여기 그냥 앉아 계신 것이 아니라 지명하여 부름받았다. 나는 하나님께 지명받은 사람이야. 이 사실만 붙잡아도 승리하게 될 줄을 믿는다. 오늘 주신 말씀을 망대로 붙잡기를 바란다.

1 And God spoke all these words, saying: 2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Introduction

There was a news article that I read and one day a husband was waiting for his wife to return home. The husband went to the bus stop to wait for his wife but even though the last bus arrived, his wife did not arrive. So the husband came home and waited for his wife. But his wife still did not come home so he decided to go to bed but he couldn’t fall asleep. At that time, his husband decided that he needed to pray but the moment he decided to pray, God spoke to him. God said to him, “Are you waiting for your wife? Are you sleepy?” And the husband replied to God, “Yes I am sleepy. I cannot fall asleep because I am waiting for his wife.” But God responded to him, “But while you wait for me, how do you sleep so well?” The husband replied something important spiritually. The husband realized that he did not really search for God. When we listen to God’s word, we are getting to know the heart of God. When we receive God’s word today, don’t just listen to it but really think about what God’s heart is. There are many people who read the 10 commandments but many people ignore the 1st and 2nd commandments. If you ignore those commandments then you are missing the main core of the 10 commandments. We can see the essence of the gospel and the heart of God through the 1st and 2nd commandments. In other words, if you ignore the 1st and 2nd commandments then the rest of the 10 commandments can be heard as just legalism or merely laws. But if you hold onto the 1st and 2nd commandments then you can see the true essence of the gospel. 

1. The God of the Covenant

(1) The God Who Gives the Commandments

Verse 1 - It said that God spoke here. The word of God here is referring to Elohim and Elohim is referring to God as the Creator God, All knowing, and All powerful. This is God talking to not just the Israelites but He is talking to us. This is the word of God that God was speaking to all people. The word is referring to God’s covenant, the 10 commandments. God, the Elohim, was proclaiming the 10 commandments. These commandments were not just given to the Israelites but to all people. We can see that all blessing and the gospel is contained within the 10 commandments. Then you must hold onto today’s sermon as the word that God is speaking to you. Then the standard of all things needs to be set with God’s word, with the 10 commandments. You need to set your entire life and standard with the word of God. 

(2) Your God

Verse 2 - We must hold onto the word, “I am the Lord your God.” God is speaking to us and speaking personally to you. There are billions of people living in this world but each individual needs to hold onto this word. God said that He was our Lord God. Who is the person who will receive God’s word? This means that not everyone can receive the 10 commandments. God gave the 10 commandments to the Israelites, to His chosen people and to the people of His covenant. Those who are holding onto God’s covenant will receive this Word that God is speaking. These are the blessings we will receive to those who receive His word and 10 commandments. You will become God’s holy nation and royal priesthood to those who hold onto God’s covenant and 10 commandments. The Israelites who were once slaves, once they received God’s covenant and commandments, they received a new identity and status. God was giving the Israelites His word and gospel. 

2. The God of Salvation

(1) The God Who Guides

Who is God? God who is Elohim and the God who judges. Last week we spoke about how even if you look at and hear the voice of God, you will be so fearful. But God is saying that this is not who He is. God is the one who leads and protects us. God has saved the Israelites through the 10 miracles in Egypt and continued to perform great miracles for the Israelites. God performed the miracle of the Red Sea splitting and protected the Israelites with the pillars of cloud and fire. When they had no food to eat, God provided them with manna and quail. When they had no water to drink, God had a rock split open and had water pouring out. Who is our God? Our God guides and protects us. Those who hold onto His covenant and those He calls out, God will continue to lead and guide us just like He did to those in the Bible. The same God in the Bible is the same God who is with us. You should have no doubts about this. God is continuing to guide and protect us. We must believe in this. 

God always fulfills HIs promises and covenants. God thinks of promises so importantly and keeping His promises that He will do whatever it takes to keep those promises. In order to fulfill His covenant, God will even make something out of nothing. In order to protect the Israelites out of Egypt and make His people into a new nation, God did everything to liberate the Israelites out of Egypt. 

Genesis 3:15, 15:13-14 “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel. 15:13-14 Then He said to Abram: ‘Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. 14 And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.’ ” - In order to fulfill this covenant, God transcended time and space. 

Genesis 15:13-14 - This was the promise that God made with Abraham. It may seem like God made a small promise with Abraham but God allowed the 10 miracles to arise in Egypt, for the Red Sea to split, and provided manna and quail to keep His promise with Abraham. The promise that God makes, God will absolutely keep them. 

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” - We who have accepted Jesus Christ, we have been given the blessing and authority to become children of God. If we are within the possession of God, then we just need to entrust all things to God. God will keep His promises no matter what. Do you have worries or concerns? God will protect and lead you. God’s plan will be fulfilled in your life. 

(2) The God Who Redeems

The Israelites didn’t do anything to God but God provided everything for the Israelites. The greatest grace that God has given to us was we were given salvation when we were bound by the destiny of death and hell. In other words, God brought us out from the house of bondage. It says here, “house” and the meaning of this “house” here also has the meaning of prison. God has brought us out from prison and the life of slavery. The Israelites were once slaves and they were stuck in the life of slavery. We have to see this in spiritual meaning. It wasn’t just speaking about the Israelites but it is speaking about us who were bound by the slavery of Satan and the fate of hell. Who is God? God who is the True King has bought us out from the background of hell and curses. Why did God use these words? To show that Jesus Christ will come as the True King. 

We can see the three offices of Christ in the book of Exodus. Exodus 13:15, 12:39 “And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’ 12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought out of Egypt; for it was not leavened, because they were driven out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared provisions for themselves.” - The Israelites were saved by the blood of the young lamb and through the cross, Jesus Christ will shed His blood for us. Jesus Christ would come as True Priest. The Israelites were freed from Egypt and they were on their way to the promised land. In other words, they were on their way to heaven. They were able to go to heaven because they were able to come out of Egypt first. Those who applied the blood of the young lamb on their door post, they were able to come out of Egypt. When we have problems, pray in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray in the name of Jesus Christ then Satan will flee. The forces of darkness become broken.  

Hold onto John 5:39 “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.” - The 10 commandments that God has given to us was to show and explain to us Jesus Christ. When we received the 10 commandments, how should we interpret it? We should view it as Jesus Christ. The 10 commandments showed us the way back to meet God and was the representation of the work of Jesus Christ. 

3. One Who Knows What God Desires

(1) Establish the bartizan of the throne within me

Verse 1 - The word of God and the gospel, we must enjoy. Then, great power will be given to us. Also, God will establish His bartizan of the throne with us. 

(2) You will see the journey of the throne on your own path

Verse 2 - Enjoy the word of God and the kingdom of God. Then, healing will take place and fundamental healing will take place. We will see our journey.  

(3) The guidepost of the throne will emerge in my future

Acts 19:21 “When these things were accomplished, Paul purposed in the Spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.” - Wherever we go, the kingdom of God will be upon us. Then, fundamental answers will come upon us. 

Conclusion

Isaiah 43:1 “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.’ ” - God said that we are His and if we are God’s then, that’s it. How did we become God’s? In order to become God’s, God sent us Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us. God redeemed us through the blood of Jesus Christ. God called us by His name and God specifically picked you. That is how we are sitting here today. You have been called by God. Hold onto this and be victorious. May we hold onto the word of God as our bartizan.
