The Word of the Resurrected Christ (Matthew 28:16-20)

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen. 

Introduction

Today is Easter and the resurrected Christ said two things. The first thing was world evangelism and in other words, He spoke of missions. The other promise was that He will be with us till the end of the age. With our missionaries and church members, you need to find the answer of the resurrection. Our missionaries, you need to gain great strength and go out with answers. Through this opportunity, gain true answers. There are three prayer topics and answers that will change your lives but before that, we need to confirm a few things. Verse 17 - There were people who doubted Jesus’ resurrection. This is possible. We need to confirm five things. World evangelism has never stopped. Even if they were sent as slaves, wars broke out, and Assyria enslaved Israelites, world evangelism was never stopped. Even during captivity, Roman evangelism took place. God allowed through nations world evangelism to occur. Many wars broke out throughout the world but evangelism continued. The second thing that we must confirm is that other than the gospel, everything was a disaster. This is a sure thing. Omitting the gospel, education and nations are creating disasters throughout the world. The nations that are overpowering the world by building idolatry, they are creating disasters throughout the world. But all of these nations have fallen. The reason why we must relay the gospel to nations is so that we can save the next generation. The third thing that we must confirm is that people don’t know spiritual science. People never imagined that cell phones would’ve existed a long time ago because the science was not advanced yet. In the future, they will build a phone that will communicate with space. But the spiritual science is immense. People don’t know it so they doubt it. So that is why the Jews caused the next generation to fail. We must confirm this. The fourth thing that we must confirm is that even now, God continues to do the work of salvation, evangelism, and missions. He is continuing to fulfill His word and answering our prayers. This is the entirety of the triune God. In this flow, we must confirm where we are. We must confirm where world evangelism is within our country. As I confirmed these three things, I received answers for 40 years. For 40 years, I continuously received answers. What did I confirm? I realized that I wasn’t praying, 40 years ago. I didn’t know what prayer was. What is prayer? When you pray, you should feel relieved but I wasn’t. For 40 years, God protected my health and ministry. You must confirm this. The most difficult thing for me was evangelism. It didn’t match my personality. I realized that my life had nothing to do with world evangelism. Just realizing this, God allowed me to do the world evangelism movement for 40 years. I didn’t realize that the word was alive. Worship was not taking place for me. But one day, I realized that I was not in a place where God’s word was fulfilled. From that moment, answers started coming to me. The book of Acts became my navigation for me. Why did God promise us the spiritual summit? What I learn, how I have lived, none of that is bad. What I have, none of that is bad. Because I have lived with those things. But with those things, we cannot do world evangelism. That is why God tells us to be the spiritual summit. We must receive these blessings.

You must know prayer and word that changes your life. 

1. Prayer to Enjoy the Eternal Christ

1) Christ for long ages past

It is the life that enjoys Christ. People don’t know Christ. What does it mean to know Christ? If you know someone, then you can say that you know that person. But if that person doesn't know you, then you don’t know that person. You may say that you know the president of South Korea but the president doesn’t know you. But if you say you know someone and they know you then you know that person. In other words, it is the prayer that enjoys the eternal Christ. Do you understand this? The Triune God, the God of long ages past. People didn’t know God so that is why they failed. 

2) Christ the Incarnate

They failed to know of Christ who incarnated, that is why they failed. 

3) Christ who has resurrected

This was what changed the age. 

4) Christ who will return as the Lord of the Second Coming

They didn’t know this so people don’t know that God is with us all the time. 

5) Christ who will be the Judge

If you know this and experience the resurrection, and pray. Don’t lose hold of this. If you don’t know this, you don’t know the Bible then you can’t receive answers. 

2. Prayer to Enjoy the Evidence of the Resurrection

1) Historical evidence

You must see this. This evidence was recorded in history. How Jesus suffered under Pontius Pilate was recorded in history. The first evidence came from the Jewish record. It said that people stole the body of Jesus. The Jewish people created this. People claimed that they were seeing hallucinations. The Jews fabricated this. Some people say that they saw Jesus but the Jews claimed that Jesus was not fully dead. He just fainted and woke up. This was the theory of fainting. These three claims give evidence of God’s resurrection. They stole His body showing that the grave was empty. Claiming that some people saw Him means that people saw Him. Jesus fainted means that He did come back alive. 

2) Scientific evidence

All scholars claim that the world will end one day. The Bible says that all people will resurrect during the end times. 

1 Corinthians 15:20 “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” - It is scientific. It will be for everyone. Every scholar says that the world will end. 

3) Biblical evidence

It was prophesied in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.”, Mark 16:15-20 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand 19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”, and Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.' ” - - We don’t know everything, that is why we believe. A 3-year-old cannot solve hard math problems. You must believe it. God died and rose again according to the scriptures. What did this Christ say? 

Verses 18-20 - Jesus said to cast out demons in His nations and go to all people. He commands us to heal the sick and that He will be with us. He is telling us to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be His witnesses to the ends of the world. Jesus is telling us to hold onto this evidence and the evidence of resurrection. This will be our bartizan, journey, and guidepost. That is why we do this prayer. We must restore this prayer. Then, how can we restore it? 

3. Prayer that Enjoys the Name of Jesus Christ (John 19:30, Genesis 3:15, Exodus 3:1)

1) John 14:14 “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” Ask in My name

Through Jesus Christ, He crushed the head of the serpent. The blood of the lamb will free us. We don’t need the blood of the lamb anymore. Hold onto the important thing. We don’t need to capture lambs or do blood sacrifices. Christ has finished everything. That is why He confessed that everything is finished. Don’t be deceived. It is all finished. Jesus said of John 14:14 - This was Jesus’ promise to us. 

2) John 17:11-12 “Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.” Jesus Christ is the name of the Lord

This is the Triune God, Christ of long ages past. 

3) Jeremiah 33:1-3 “Moreover the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time, while he was still shut up in the court of the prison, saying, 2 “Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): 3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ ” That name Jesus, the name of the Lord

When Jeremiah was facing a crisis, God spoke to him. God who works and fulfills. Then, God spoke. His name is the Lord. Long time Moses said that he could not go before Pharaoh and go before the people. But God said that His name was the Lord and told the people that the Lord has sent you. His name. His name is the Lord. 

4) Acts 3:6 “Then Peter said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’ ”, Acts 4:12 “” In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk

One day Peter’s eyes were opened, he saw a crippled man who was sitting at the same spot. He came before him and confessed of the name of Jesus Christ. This timing was important. We don’t know what time.  

5) Acts 16:16-18 “Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” 18 And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.” May all evil spirits depart in the name of the Resurrected Jesus Christ

Paul saw a demon possessed girl and commanded in the name of Jesus Christ for the demons to flee from the girl. In the name of the resurrected Lord. This is evidence. Pray in His name. 

6) Philippians 3:21 “Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” The name of Jesus to whom every knee should bow

One of the pieces of evidence was the resurrection of Jesus. This was tremendous. This is where all of our answers lie. The eternal Christ. He is eternal. He is the resurrected Christ. This is tremendous. In His name, God tells us to ask anything and to cast out demons. In His name, God commands us to move all creation. This is it. I told you earlier but women live longer because they say “Amen” but men don’t because they don’t say “Amen.” We must testify and pray, and say “Amen” and great healing will take place. We must save others with this. We don’t need anything else. I am nobody and nothing. I don’t need anything. God has given us everything. The eternal God promised to be with us till the end of the age. Then, it is over. It is finished. Cast out demons in His name. Have assurance of this. Then, where must I go? Just pray. What should I do? Don’t worry about this. Non-believers go to shamans but don’t worry, answers will be revealed to us. Did we meet 5,000 tribes through shamans but through His word, God will work. 

John 19:30 “So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, 'It is finished!' And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel.” 

Exodus 3:1 “Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.”

Conclusion: Three prayers

1. Status prayer (John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”)

We are children of God and church officers. You are the remnants. Boldly do the status prayer because you are children of God. Boldly pray before God. When I was raising our children, I couldn’t see them often but I would give them allowances in advance since I couldn’t see them often. But my daughter would take her allowances boldly but my son would receive it with shaky hands. If I forget about their allowances, my daughter would boldly ask me to give her allowances. People would tell me that the authority of children is great. Boldly pray and pray with the 7-7-7 prayer. Wait and wait for the kingdom of God. The power will come upon you and you will be witnesses to the end of the world. 

2. Authority prayer

You have this as well. Confirm this. Pray that all darkness within your family and family line be bound. Then works will arise. 

3. Prayer to enjoy spiritual background

This is what Jesus promised. For 40 days, Jesus spoke about the kingdom of God. This is our background, journey, and guidepost. Don’t worry but just pray. Change your thinking. With the power of Christ, go out into the world. Our missionaries can return with this. God promised that He will be with us till the end. You need to build your church. If you receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, God promised that we will be His witnesses. May the great blessing of healing take place within your life.
